Kimberly Coy began her teaching career in brick and blackboard schools as a K-8 general and special education teacher. In 2007 she had the opportunity to work in an online public school and she began the deep dive into digital learning for students and adults. This ultimately lead her to pursue a PhD with a focus including UDL, digital environments, and traditionally marginalized learners from kindergarten to post secondary. Currently, Dr. Coy continues this work as an Assistant Professor of Education at California State University, Fresno. During her free time Kimberly enjoys exploring the food truck scene in Fresno.
