Kathy Hunter received her BS in psychology and education from Texas A & M University and an MA in counseling from the University of La Verne. Her career experience includes employment at IBM, several psychiatric hospitals, and the Wm. S. Hart UHSD where she recently promoted from Director of Student Services to Assistant Superintendent. Kathy considers her greatest accomplishments for the District to be the creation of a department of social work, establishment of a threat assessment process, and the formation of a wellness initiative. She is married and has one son and one grandson and two dogs.
