Central Valley Justice Coalition (CVJC) is utilizing several cirriculums to actively prevent human trafficking with junior high and high school students. The Coalition offers training for educators and other professionals, prevention groups for vulnerable adolescents, case consultation and referrals, and resources for victims, survivors and their families.  This workshop highlights the "Not a Number" and "My Life My Choice" prevention programs for boys and girls ages 12 to 18.  The Coalition aims to have an impact on this population by utilizing survivors as group leaders, trainers, and mentors. Their first-hand accounts of victimization have informed group and training curricula and are the voice of authenticity to girls and boys entrapped in a life of abuse.
