Social media has had a dramatic impact on school safety and discipline of students and employees.  This workshop will analyze best practices for schools to respond to student bullying and employee political speech that occurs online but still impacts the educational environment.  This session will also explore how to respond to a student’s school shooting threat on social media and the limits on social media monitoring.  The world of social media moves quickly; we invite you to join us as we catch up and try to get you ahead of the next social media controversy on your campus.
